When Moses was ready to begin to instruct the Hebrew people on the bulding of the Mishkan in the wilderness, he relayed God's words: "Take from among you gifts to the Lord; everyone whose heart so moves him shall bring them - gifts for the Lord: gold, silver, and copper; blue, purple, and crimson yarns, fine linen and goats' hair; tanned ram skins, dolphin skins and acacia wood, oil for lighting, spices for the anointing oil and for the aromatic incense, lapis lazuli and other stones for setting ..." (Exodus 35:4-9)
At Temple Beth-El we are blessed by so many congregants whose hearts move them to contribute their gifts of golden voices, silver words, the finest stories, all in the interest of bringing out the beauty in this community.
One such example is our new newsletter. Truly a work of art, this beautiful publication is the work of Karen Cuttler, Rabbi Brickman and President Irwin Rosen. Karen's talent for stylish layout, text and graphics are a tremendous gift to Temple Beth-El.
Enjoy!
