Celebrating the Rhythm and Music of Jewish Life
An Evening of Study, Discussion, Music, and Fun!
Presented by the North Jersey Board of Rabbis
Saturday Evening, February 4
Fair Lawn Jewish Center

Registration opens at 6:30 p.m.; Special Musical Havdalah at 6:50 p.m.
Two one-hour sessions of classes; More than 24 classes to choose from!
The offerings of this year’s Sweet Tastes of Torah are inspired by Shabbat Shirah, or Shabbat of Song, the special Sabbath that falls this year on February 3-4.

Shabbat Shirah derives its name from the passage known as Shirat Hayam/Song of the Sea. Having safely crossed the Yam Soof or Red Sea, Moses and the people of Israel joyously sang the very first song in Jewish history.

And so, hava nashira, let’s study together the music and the rhythms of Jewish life.
