“Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses.” (Exodus 12:19)
In ridding their homes of chametz for Passover, many Jews follow the custom of temporarily “selling” their chametz (leavened food) for the days of the holiday. If you would like Rabbi Moritt to arrange for the sale of your chametz (or are just curious about this custom), please email her (rabbimoritt@betheljc.org) by Tuesday, March 23.
