Serving Hudson County’s Progressive Jewish Community for Over 150 Years

(Inter)Act

Being part of a sacred community means being part of something greater than ourselves. Temple Beth-El reaches beyond the walls of our synagogue to increase justice and lovingkindness in our world. We truly connect when we do meaningful work together.

We have deep roots in the larger community, nurturing those roots through action, including hosting a food pantry and partnering with outside organizations. Our synagogue serves as a community touchpoint and gathering space as the host to our annual MLK interfaith service, as well as spontaneous vigils following some of our darkest moments; local and national.

We don’t just come together to work, we come together to play. Our interactions are often fun, joyful, and foster abiding friendships. Temple Beth-El is a celebration.
