Serving Hudson County’s Progressive Jewish Community for Over 150 Years

High Holy Days 2026
Yamim Nora’im 5787
Registration for High Holiday Services will begin August 15.
Welcome the new year with music, majesty, and the warmth of community. Led by our Rabbi Leana Moritt, Music Director Kyra Goldman and longtime accompanist Ben Rauch, we will celebrate the joy of being together in community, renewal and the power of transformative change.
Rosh Hashana begins September 11 and online registration will open August 15.
Yom Kippur will include a Yom Kippur Teaching, Yom Kippur Meditative Walk, and Yom Kippur Community Break Fast.
If you have not yet done so, renew your membership here. If you are signed up to autopay your Terumah/dues on your credit/debit card, your membership is automatically renewed. However, please consider increasing your pledge and be sure the security fee is included. If you have questions you may email admin@betheljc.org. PLEASE NOTE, you must still register for High Holy Days.
If you are not now a member, we encourage you to join. You can learn about membership here.
As always, we remain committed to providing a home for the High Holy Days for all who want to celebrate the holidays with us. In order to do that, we ask all who benefit from having a place at TBE for the High Holy Days make a donation to the Temple. In this way we can ensure that we continue to provide our services for all who need them.
Repeal The Appeal!
We all know it. No one wants to hear a fundraising pitch in the middle of our beautiful Kol
Nidrei services. So please, help us get rid of it. If we reach our goal of raising $60,000 in Kol
Nidrei appeals or extra High Holy Day donations by September 8, we will cancel it. You can help repeal the appeal by adding an extra donation here. Choose the “Kol Nidrei appeal dropdown” after ticking off “fundraising initiative.”
Registration for High Holiday Services will open in August.
