Serving Hudson County’s Progressive Jewish Community for Over 150 Years
Temple Beth-El youth programs offer a wide variety of social, cultural, and recreational activities for Jewish children in grades 5-12.
Our monthly Youth Group meetings and activities are designed to be fun and help our teens and pre-teens develop a social conscious as they develop a Jewish social network. Cantor Breznick, our Youth Group Director, leads our 2 groups: Jr. Youth Group (grades 5-7) and Youth Group (grades 8-12). As a Reform synagogue, Temple Beth-El is part of the NFTY (National Federation of Temple Youth) network.
We believe that strong youth programming is an important supplement to formal Jewish education and helps to establish lifelong Jewish involvement. The activities supplement our Religious School experiences and encourage children and teens to create lasting bonds with each other, their Jewish identity, social activism and our congregation. We have so many fun events scheduled for this year, there is something for everyone!
