Serving Hudson County’s Progressive Jewish Community for Over 150 Years
Children are welcome at all holiday services. They especially love seeing the Torah unrolled on Simchat Torah eve and dressing up for Purim.
We gather for an early dinner on the first night of Sukkot as the children help decorate our outdoor sukkah.
At the High Holy Days, we offer an early afternoon family service. On Rosh Hashanah our young families love to join us at Liberty State Park after the service as we observe Tashlich – casting our transgressions (bread crumbs) into the water.
We picnic on Shavuot.
