Volunteering

Please consider taking an ushering/greeting shift during the holidays. A friendly welcoming “shana tova” at the door not only helps our services flow more smoothly, but adds to the warmth and spirit of our community. Please select your availability to usher and greet attendees; remember to register your attendance at the service(s) you will be volunteering. Longer services will be split into two shifts. Our ushering leadership will be in touch before the holidays to introduce themselves and confirm your shifts. Greeting requires arriving at the Temple 30 minutes before the service and confirming the attendee list for ushers.

Temple Beth-El is proud to open our doors to all who want to pray with us over the High Holy Days and relies on donations to continue to provide this service.

Can you donate to help sustain our community and our values? Your donation will also help Repeal the Appeal! If we reach our goal of raising $60,000 in Kol Nidrei appeals or extra High Holy Day donations by September 30, that unpopular segment of our service will be repealed.
