Slichot is September 13 and will include the film Past Lives  .As we approach the High Holy Days and the season of reflection and return, join us for this film that beautifully explores the choices we make, the nature of regrets, and how we can honestly face our present.  There will be a discussion, followed by Slichot prayers and the installation ceremony for our High Holy Day Torah Mantles.

Nora and Hae Sung, two deeply connected childhood friends, are wrest apart after Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. Two decades later, they are reunited in New York for one fateful week as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life, in this heartrending modern romance.
