Slichot is September 28 and will include the film How Saba Kept Singing, an award-winning documentary of Cantor and Holocaust Survivor, David “Saba” Wisnia, who spends his later years traveling with his grandson, Avi Wisnia, sharing the story of how he survived the Holocaust through music. But layers of the real story of his survived are revealed along the way. There will be a discussion, followed by Slichot prayers and the installation ceremony for our High Holy Day Torah Mantles.
